Prodify: one place to manage a building product line.
Building product manufacturers were managing specs, documents, certifications and distribution across a dozen disconnected tools. We built Prodify with CADdetails, the first platform to hold all of it in one place, so products get specified by the architects and engineers who are looking for them.
The product existed. The files were everywhere.
A manufacturer with a few hundred SKUs might hold CAD drawings on a shared drive, BIM models with an outside firm, cut sheets in a marketing folder, certifications in someone's inbox and pricing in a spreadsheet. When an architect asks for a spec, the answer takes days and comes back inconsistent.
CADdetails had spent 25 years managing technical files for more than 600 manufacturers and seeing the same mess from the other side. They knew what specifiers needed. We knew how to build the product.
Asset ready, data ready, channel ready, AI ready.
Prodify is a combined digital asset management and product information management platform built specifically for building product manufacturers, from ten SKUs to ten thousand. CAD, BIM, cut sheets, renders and video sit next to structured product data: dimensions, materials, SKUs, pricing and certifications, with version control that actually holds.
From there the same data goes out to every channel: the manufacturer's website, distributor portals and the CADdetails network, with engagement analytics coming back so sales knows which specifiers are looking at what. An AI layer generates specs and product recommendations on top of the structured data.
- Spec Builder Pro generates specifications from product data
- CAD Analyzer and Spec Analyzer are free assessment tools that bring manufacturers into the funnel
- Visualizer previews DWG, RVT and SKP files in 2D and 3D in the browser
- Brand portals and design hubs for distributors, resellers and partner networks
- AEC analytics route specifier engagement to sales; CRM, CMS and MCP integrations are in progress

Sold to manufacturers who had already lived the problem.
The launch customers came through the CADdetails relationship: manufacturers who had been sending files back and forth for years and wanted them in one system. MOSO North America consolidated products scattered across OneDrive, Dropbox and personal computers into one searchable catalogue. Maxxon's product marketing team reported that version control stopped being a problem.
We built the platform and the free tools that feed it, and we stay on the product: onboarding, roadmap, the integrations now in progress, and the analytics that tell us which features move specification rates.

Free tools are the best top of funnel for a B2B product.
The CAD Analyzer and Spec Analyzer exist because a manufacturer will try a free check on their own files long before they book a demo. The tools do real work, expose the gaps, and hand the sales conversation a concrete starting point.
