Overland Addiction: a buyer's guide to every truck camper in North America, designed and built to be found.
Choosing a truck camper means comparing dozens of small manufacturers with inconsistent spec sheets and no single place to see them side by side. Overland Addiction is that place: 47 brands, eight regions, six camper types, and a blog that answers the exact comparison questions buyers type into Google. We designed it, built it, and run product and SEO for it as a fractional team.
Dozens of great builders. No way to compare them.
The truck camper market is a long tail of specialist manufacturers: Scout Campers in Yakima, Four Wheel Campers in California, Go Fast Campers in Montana, Super Pacific in Oregon, and forty more. Each publishes its own spec sheet in its own format. A buyer deciding between a wedge pop-top and a hard-sided slide-in has to open twenty tabs and build a spreadsheet.
The searches were already there. People type Kimbo 6 vs Scout Yoho, or lightest hard-sided truck camper, or truck campers Pacific Northwest, and get forum threads. There was room for a directory that treated those questions as the product.
A directory where the data is the design.
Overland Addiction lists every brand with a consistent record: location, region, starting price and camper types, filterable by eight regions and six camper types, sortable by price and name. Each brand page carries model by model spec tables, pros and cons, an FAQ, independent video reviews and a set of similar brands, all marked up with structured data.
The site is built on Next.js so every page renders as fast, crawlable HTML. The blog is written around comparison intent: OVRLND vs Tune Outdoor, Super Pacific X1 vs Go Fast V2 Pro, Kimbo 6 vs Scout Yoho. Revenue comes from affiliate partnerships, disclosed on the site.

- Brand pages with spec tables, FAQ, pros and cons, video reviews and internal links
- Comparison-first blog matched to the questions buyers search
- Next.js build with structured data and fast, crawlable pages
- Design that stays out of the way of the data

Every brand page is built to answer, and to rank.

Fractional product, web design and SEO, on one roadmap.
We run this as one roadmap rather than three services. A new brand launches, so we add the record, write the comparison the market will ask for, and check the internal links. A camper type gets popular, so it gets a landing page. The design work, the build work and the search work are the same weekly conversation, which is what a fractional product team means in practice.

Search is a product spec, not a marketing task.
The pages that rank are the pages that answer. Building the directory around the questions people already ask, and giving every answer a consistent, structured home, did more than any amount of after the fact optimisation could have. We now scope SEO into the product from the first week on every build that needs to be found.
